Every batch of PakShilajit is third-party lab tested before it reaches you. Our shilajit is screened for heavy metals such as lead and mercury, verified as genuine Himalayan shilajit, and processed at an FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility — independently lab tested, including by Eurofins Australia (report below); additional reports available on request.
What we test for
- Heavy metals — lead, mercury, arsenic and cadmium, to confirm safe levels.
- Authenticity — that it is genuine mineral shilajit, not a lab-made imitation.
- Fulvic and humic acid — the active compounds shilajit is valued for.
- Microbial safety — to ensure it is clean and safe for daily use.
Why lab testing matters for shilajit
Shilajit forms on high-altitude rock and can absorb heavy metals from its surroundings. Cheap or poorly processed shilajit may contain unsafe levels of lead or mercury, and lab-made versions contain none of the real minerals at all. Independent testing is the only reliable way to confirm a batch is both genuine and safe to take every day.

An FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility
PakShilajit's Himalayan shilajit is processed and packed at a facility registered with the U.S. FDA that holds a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certificate whose scope explicitly covers Himalayan Shilajit. The U.S. FDA does not "approve" supplements — this is a facility registration, not an endorsement.
